Postpartum Mental Health
Pregnancy and the months after birth bring big changes, and it is common to feel anxious, low, irritable or just not like yourself. These feelings are not a personal failing, and they are treatable.
Our team includes a nurse practitioner certified in perinatal mental health (PMH-C) who provides evaluation and medication management during pregnancy and postpartum, by secure video anywhere in Georgia. Most major insurance plans are accepted.
How We Help
What we treat. Postpartum depression and anxiety, mood changes during pregnancy, intrusive or frightening thoughts, sleep problems beyond what a new baby explains, and bipolar disorder during pregnancy and after birth.
Medication questions, answered without judgment. If you are pregnant, planning a pregnancy, or breastfeeding, your clinician will walk through the benefits and risks of each option so you can make an informed choice.
Therapy support. Our therapists can help with stress, adjustment, relationships and parenting as your family grows.
Care from home. Video visits mean no need to arrange childcare or travel.
If you are struggling right now, the National Maternal Mental Health Hotline is free and available 24/7 by call or text at 1-833-852-6262, and 988 is always available.
